Bugge Wesseltoft is a Norwegian pianist and composer, considered one of the great masters of jazz in Europe.
For the excellent mix of electronic and jazz sounds mighty good might label his style as nu jazz, but Bugge beyond letterheads and this album proves it. No sticky or lower hypnotic beats, using more lines of jazz samples and loops, with melodies that proceed at their own pace as if flying slowly lifted a cloudless sky, this album is a collection of masterful beauty.
6 melodies, which necessarily have to listen together to understand the complexity of the work of Bugge. 6 melodies able to take us to unimaginable places smooth, nesting poetry and perfection seems to be just around the corner.
